Headed to a wonderland
With a good friend of mine
Where we watched Caesar wave his hand
And order apes to form a line

Took the elevator with an English lab
Seemed excited about the free ride
Followed us to the basement
But his car was parked outside

Travelling up steep inclines
Falling at the speed of sound
Floating weightlessly, we could see for miles
Hundreds of feet off the ground
…. A wonderland full of magical things
…. And a wild beast that followed us around

Went into a turtle’s pond
Met by one named Jack
Claimed the timing wasn’t good
Asked if we’d come back

Told her we were thirsty
She started pouring as I spoke
Ordered my friend a milkshake
She handed him a diet coke
